Elsa Cedeño
Lead Vocals
Elsa Cedeño is a musician and performer based out of Santa Cruz, CA with a strong connection to the soulful, emotional style of Amy Winehouse. Blending vintage jazz & blues styles, Elsa brings raw vocal energy to the stage and keeps Amy’s spirit alive for modern audiences.
Elsa has artistic curiosity and a bold personality that explores music, culture, relationships, and life. She has a creative eye, an expressive presence, and a love for authenticity — both in performance and in conversation.
Heather Adams
Backing vocals
Heather is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, and ukulele player with training in both classical and commercial vocal techniques. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Music. Heather is a faculty member at The California Conservatory of Music, teaching voice and piano to students of all ages. She also teaches music to individuals with disabilities, a role she is especially passionate about because of her belief in music’s power to foster growth, healing, and connection.
Nyomi Zinga
BACKING VOCALS
Nyomi Zinga is a musician and singer/songwriter with an extensive background in music. Growing up in both the deep south and the bay area, she played and performed wherever possible, including school, church, and social media platforms.
Nyomi is inspired by many different artists and genres, including indie r&b, jazz, and bedroom pop. She recieved her Bachelor’s in music and now shares her passion through original songs and live performances.
Currently in the band “Valerie”, Nyomi adds color and texture as a background vocalist, elevating our live renditions of iconic Amy Winehouse classics. She has released two singles, “half mine” in 2022 and “motions” in 2025.
Jerad Fox
GUITAR
Jerad Fox is a versatile guitarist from Santa Cruz, CA. He is an exciting, dynamic performer whose fiery guitar work adds intensity and depth to the Valerie sound. He also performs lead vocals and guitar with the band Fox and The Hounds.
Morgan Monticue
bass
As the bass player for Valerie: A Tribute to Amy Winehouse, Morgan Monticue brings 29 years of musical experience and 24 years of gigging to the stage. His passion for jazz, influenced by legends like Chick Corea and Christian McBride, drives his love for playing anything with a great bassline.
Morgan aspires to perform at iconic venues like Red Rocks and hopes to share the soulful sounds of Amy Winehouse with audiences everywhere.
Flipiris

Flipiris — is a San Francisco-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer on a mission to share a bit of joy and passion for all things music. He dabbles in everything from pop, rock, jazz, funk, and R&B to dance beats and lo-fi vibes, which gave him the opportunity to work with top brands like Arturia, Baby Audio, Yamaha, and D'Addario — just to name a few — along with countless creators on their projects, all with the sole goal of spreading good energy and good times through sound.
Nathaniel Welch
DRUMS & PERCUSSION
Nathaniel Welch has performed drums for countless musicals, concerts, and clubs around the SF Bay Area in a wide range of styles. At the age of 19, he became the drummer for the world famous musical, “Beach Blanket Babylon” at the Fugazi Theater in San Francisco. Nathaniel performed in over 1500 shows for that musical revue until it closed on December 31, 2019. In addition to drumming for Valerie, he currently performs in the Bees Gees tribute band, “You Should Be Dancing”, Coldplay tribute "Trouble", No Doubt tribute "Hella Doubtful", and is the co-owner, musical director, and manager of "Valerie: A Tribute To Amy Winehouse.”
